چکیده
Lakes, either artificial or natural, are greatly important as a component in their catchments’ hydrology, but also ecosystem service providers. However, due to climate change, they have begun face numerous problems with water quality and quantity. Furthermore, general circulation models (GCMs) show future change reduction rainfall increase temperature. The aim of the current study is present an application where GCMs state-of-the-art hydrological modelling system MIKE SHE/MIKE 11 combined for assessing response Greek lake terms its balance level under change. Four (GCMs; GFDL-CM3, MIROC-ESM-CHEM, MIROC-ESM, IPSL-CM5A-LR) extreme scenario RCP8.5 were used basin Lake Zazari Greece case study. Results showed that, by keeping irrigated demands (the main user) unchanged future, exhibited lower all GCMs, fluctuating from ?0.70 ?1.8 m mean (min) ?0.30 ?1.20 (max) level. Instead above preserving amount withdraw n at certain percentage inflows, area should be reduced 54.1% 64.05% depending on model.

Delayed Response of Lake Area Change to Climate Change in Siling Co Lake, Tibetan Plateau, from 2003 to 2013
The Tibetan Plateau is a key area for research on global environmental changes. During the past 50 years, the climate in the Siling Co lake area has become continuously warmer and wetter, which may have further caused the increase in Siling Co lake area. Based on the Siling Co lake area (2003 to 2013) and climate data acquired from the Xainza and Baingoin meteorological stations (covering 1966 ...
متن کاملAssessing vulnerability of agriculture in the face of climate change (Case Study: Gilan Province)
Abstract Climate change in one area has severe impacts on water resources and, consequently, agriculture in that area. Therefore, studying the extent of the vulnerability of regions to adopting policies to reduce or adapt to new conditions is of particular importance. One of the methods for assessing the extent of damage to agricultural activities is the calculation of the vulnerability inde...

The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is the largest lake area in China, with a total area of existing lakes of 36,900 km2, accounting for 49.5% of the total lake area of China The expansion and shrinkage of lakes in the Tibetan Plateau play critical roles in the water cycle and ecological and environment systems of the Plateau. In this paper, bases on the topographic map in 1970s, and the MASS and TM/ETM ...
